Chris Kelly started in radio in 1991 for Light Rock Z108 in Macon, GA as a part- time on air personality for the weekend shifts. In 1993 he was offered a Sunday afternoon shift for the Rock Station Q106. “I loved the music formats at both stations, and just followed the money”
Chris hit the club scene in 1994 working various clubs throughout Middle GA and even in the Atlanta-Metro area for the next 25 years.

In 2009 he started his own mobile DJ company called Class One Productions, now known as Chris Kelly Media where he would DJ/MC various events including: weddings, reunions and even hosted karaoke.
He was and still is the Public Relations Director for the children’s program Kids Yule Love, helping raise money and awareness for the children in the local communities who need help at Christmas time, including adding Bibles with the toys they receive from the those who help.

Chris was a fire fighter for Macon-Bibb County for years, fighting fires, running medical calls and community service. ”The thing that I will always remember about my time on the department was when I brought a female who had taken her life back to life by performing CPR on her”
Chris did some fill in work on the air for WPGA 100.9 with the show Mix in the Morning. He was a fill-in host and a regular guest on the show. He even became the main host in 2015 during a vacation from the fire dept. “What can I say I don’t fear work at all.”

In December 2023, at age 52, Chris suffered a stroke. With the help from doctors, family, and most of all God he beat the stroke after being told by the hospital he would not make it through the weekend. He took off all of 2024 and now is back at it doing what he loves to do!​

​Chris has 3 sons, CJ, Derrick, and Christian.
